Love Is All 2002 Reviews
Here is a selection of comments from the Burton Mail about the
second Love Is All show in 2002 ...
Engelbert Show Was Runaway Success
Just a few words to say how much my husband and I enjoyed
Love Is All 2 at Burton Town Hall on July 6.
Tony Mulcahy once again put together a great tribute concert
to Engelbert Humperdinck.
The combination of Tony, the backing singers, The Cover Girls
and the very professional Love Is All orchestra along with the
two surprise guests made it a night to remember.
The standing ovation at the end was richly deserved and once
again Tony has raised a great deal of money towards the Queens
Hospital Cancer appeal.
Can I thank everyone who helped make the night so successful
-- Pat and Dennis Tilling, Grange Street, Burton.
Thank You ...
I would like to express my thanks through your paper to Tony
Mulcahy for an excellent night.
The work that he does for Charity is superb, the night was very
good value and one of the best shows I have been to.
Well done Tony and all of the other performers -- Helen Harvey,
Burton
What a Great Night ...
For the second year running I wound up the elastic band on
my Ford Popular, and together with wife chugged along the A38
from Derby to Burton.
The occasion -Tony Mulcahy Tribute Concert Engelbert Lives-it
was amazing entertainment.
The Orchestra were superb, the Cover Girls fab and Tony WAS
Engelbert.
I hear that this concert will be staged again in 2003 - I suggest
the show goes on to Derby, Nottingham and Leicester. It will
be a huge success -- Alan Grimadell, Derby.
A Great Night From Tony ...
Having been a big fan of Engelbert's since 1967 and seeing
him in concert hundreds of times, Tony Mulcahy treated us to
a wonderful and memorable night.
From the opening of the show with Quando, Quando the show went
from strength to strength. The Cover Girls and Orchestra were
excellent and the choice of songs, some old, some new, were
superb.
Tony's brilliant voice captured the crowd and the standing ovation
at the end of the show was greatly deserved.
Tony's performance would have made Engelbert proud to have been
part of the audience.
Another tremendous effort where a great deal of money was raised
for Burton cancer Patients

Wonderful Show ...
On Saturday July 6, I travelled to Burton with my husband
and some friends to see Tony Mulcahy perform Love Is All 2.
I saw last Years show, Love Is All 1 and that was a wonderful
show, a tribute to our King of Romance, Engelbert and WHAT a
tribute it was!
Love Is All 2 opened with Tony singing Quando, Quando and that
was followed by Engelbert's songs both old and new-you did our
man proud Tony.
There were an awful lot more people there this year than last
and I am sure that everyone loved every minute of the show,
the atmosphere was wonderful.
There were two more artists who performed this year. There was
Ben, the young boy who played the violin; he was magnificent-
a very clever boy whom I hope will go far because he deserves
it.
There was also the Marilyn Munro look alike who was very good
too.
The Love Is All Orchestra, the backing singers, The Cover Girls
and Andy the compere must not be forgotten.
Well done Tony! Last years show was wonderful but this one was
even better. How do you do it?
You work very hard for a wonderful cause for which we are very
proud of you and we are looking forward to Love Is All 3-any
chance?
